Stephanie began singing as a soloist and small ensemble performer at the age of 3, and continued to perform with her family and with church, school, and community choirs through high school, college, which led her into her professional career. She began formal voice training with Anthony Sears in 1998 at the age of 16, and received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education in 2003 from The College of New Jersey, where she studied voice with Robert Guarino and choral conducting with Dr. Michael Mendoza.
Stephanie has over 20 years of experience in musical theatre and opera, including performance, direction, and design, and has performed as a professional vocalist with the Opera Festival of New Jersey under chorus master Richard Tang Yuk. She has also amassed 10 years of experience working with young singers, especially ages 12 through 18, through both private voice lessons/coaching and direction of various choral ensembles and theatre programs. Stephanie has received training in the McCloskey Voice Technique, and currently studies in the Bel Canto tradition with Kenneth E. Querns-Langley. She currently works as a vocalist with the Philadelphia Singers, under the direction of David Hayes, and is also employed as Director of Choral Activities and Musical Director for the Theatre Program at Arch Bishop Wood High School, in Bucks County, PA.
